About Me

I value getting to know my students' personalities in and outside of the classroom setting just as much as I do allowing my students to get to know me in and out of the classroom setting! Scroll down to get a glimpse of both my professional and personal life!

The Beautiful thing about learning is no-one can take it away from you

Family

I am the youngest of 9 children. Thi is a very old photo, but here are my 4 brothers and 4 sisters pictured standing on the beach! 4 of my siblings have 12 children in all with the age range being 18 years old to a 3 year old. If you had to ask me what I value the most, it would be my family! Growing up in a large family has its difficulties, but is probably the greatest gift I have ever received. I love spending quality time with each of my nieces and nephews and watching them grow up in this world.

Travel

Growing up, I have always loved traveling. I have been blessed to have opportunities throughout my childhood, teens, and now into adulthood, to take trips across the world! Traveling is a time where I get to immerse myself in different cultures, experience new foods, and most importantly, build quality relationships with the people I travel with!

Food

Along with traveling, I think food is the hallmark of experiencing the world around us. While I am not a cooker myself, I do enjoy watching others cook and seeing the hard work that goes into the process of cooking! Trying new cuisines is like trying on new clothes in that it truly is a whole-body experience filled with all the emotions a human can feel!
